Alfie Rescued US!

Thank you so much for checking in on how Alfie is doing! I can honestly say, we have never had one issue with him. He immediately took to our family, never does one thing considered to be a behavior issue, and I'd never trade him for a million dogs! Or dollars for that matter! Alfie came into our lives at a time that was so difficult for us--especially for me. We had a newfoundland mix we adopted from our local shelter on the day he was to be put down. He was around 3 years old and he was with us til he passed last year at around 13 years. You all know the devastation of losing a family member. There could never be another Duke, but Alfie has filled a tremendous void and we love him just as much as we loved Duke. I can't imagine how anyone could ever have let him go, but I'm so grateful that they did, and that you chose us to bring him into our family! I can never thank you enough! ng his stay with MARF, and for checking up on him AND us through these months since we've met. We love you Josie!

He had no idea he was a snowdog and wasn't too sure about it at first, but once he flopped down into it he never wanted to stop! We had to practically carry him in the house--and that's not easy with a 140 lb dog!
